Materials suitable for food-grade textile machinery must comply with national food safety standards-being non-toxic, harmless, and free from the leaching of hazardous substances-while also meeting the operational demands of textile workshops, such as wear and corrosion resistance. These materials generally fall into two categories: metals and non-metals.

 

Food-Grade Metal Materials
SUS304 Stainless Steel: Offers high strength, corrosion resistance, and ease of cleaning. Its finely polished surface is free of burrs and resists the accumulation of fibers and stains. It is the mainstream material for frames, guards, and conveyor components in food-grade textile machinery and complies with the GB 9684 hygiene standard.
SUS316 Stainless Steel:Superior to 304 in acid, alkali, and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for machinery components that come into contact with oily or acidic food-grade raw materials, making it ideal for specialized production environments requiring high cleanliness and resistance to corrosive conditions.

 

Food-Grade Engineering Plastic Materials
Food-Grade POM:Features excellent wear resistance and self-lubricating properties; it is non-toxic and odorless. Commonly used for moving parts such as bearing shells and yarn bobbins, it meets safety requirements for food contact.
Food-Grade PEEK: Offers outstanding high-temperature and corrosion resistance, maintaining stability during prolonged high-temperature operation. It is suitable for critical wear-resistant components in food-grade textile machinery.
Food-Grade PC: Certified by the US FDA or EU LFGB, this material offers high strength and excellent dimensional stability. Widely used for components such as yarn bobbins and equipment protective covers, it does not leach harmful substances.
